Saturday night we headed over to my brother's house for a party. A lumpia party. We have eaten lumpia since we were kids. For those of you who don't know what lumpia is, it is kind of like a mini wonton roll. Veggies, meat the usual. Anyway we headed over to Aaron and Amy's with all of the kids to make a batch and pig out.
Grandma was the meat distributor so that the kids didn't over stuff the wrapper. Even little Abbie got in on the action! It was so fun watching the 
kids work on folding them just right. Liam was the perfectionist, Simon worked solo, Grace and Patrick worked with Austin and Andrew.
Simon and Sean had their own little factory going at the end of the table. He was so proud of himself for folding them on his own.
Ashley thought the raw meat was "disgusting" so she worked at the fry cook.
Of course Aaron had to pick on Patrick a little bit.
Over all it was a great party. The kids had fun wrapping the lumpia and the adults had fun eating most of it! I am thinking this should become a tradition.
